What do I need to apply for a mortgage as a non-resident?
- Copy of your Passport
- Copy of your NIE or Residencia
- Copies of the last 3 months bank statements, showing your declared income
- Details of any investments or assets you might have
- Proof of Pensions (if applicable)
- If you are employed you will need to provide the last three months wage slips
- The latest P60
- If you are self-employed you will need to provide the latest SA302 or the last annual accounts certified by a Chartered accountant
- An Experian report
- The difference between the purchase price and the mortgage will need to be transferred into a personal private bank account provided by the lender
- A nota simple
